Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse operates at peak efficiency, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing warehouse operations, with a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain processes. You will be able to lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, while working closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Manage the allocation and utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Lead and train a team of warehouse staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and shipping activities.
  • Identify and address any operational issues or bottlenecks, and implement solutions to resolve them.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in warehouse management or a related field.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures, including logistics, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of warehouse staff.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Valid Class 3 Driving License and Forklift License (or equivalent).
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience using warehouse management software.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders.
