Garena is a leading global online games developer and publisher. Shopee is the largest pan-regional e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Monee is a leading digital payments and financial services provider in Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with country finance teams on month-end closing, accuracy of system data and any accounting-related matters
Perform key analysis on the financial performance of business segments (e.g., Garena, Shopee, and SeaMoney) and operation statistics at a regional level
Act as a key member in supporting FP&A objectives in the budgeting and forecasting cycles and management reporting process
Identify issues and coordinate amongst various stakeholders (both local and regional) on projects such as revenue recognition, process improvement and system implementation
Assist business through providing data, insights and analytics to support the team in making the right data-driven decisions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or related fields, or other related professional qualification in accounting, such as the ACCA and ISCA.
At least 4 years of relevant working experience. Big 4 accounting firm experience desired but not a must
Strong team player who thrives on excellence and continuous improvement
Passionate in the finance space with a strong willingness to learn; enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while delivering desired results
Possess strong, logical, and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SQL and Power BI knowledge will be an advantage
Experience with voluminous data management, statistics and research methodology will be a plus
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and build good working relationships.
