Job Role:
Middleware and DevOps specialist with a focus on Java development. You will be responsible for overseeing the configuration of infrastructure across the entire software development life cycle. This includes hardware, operating system, database, middleware, software, and application deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Aldon applications are configured for deployment using Bitbucket/Jenkins and Aldon LMe applications.
2. Develop and review custom-developed middleware Java applications for file transformation, encryption/decryption, and transmission to external systems via multiple protocols.
3. Design and implement Control-M job scheduling and support SSL certificate injection and renewal.
4. Monitor application services in Unix/Linux and Windows, creating scripts to maintain services and ensure server health.
5. Supervise team members, guiding them to improve teamwork and efficiency.
6. Familiarize yourself with IT setup, governance, and change management processes.
Requirements:
1. A degree in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university.
2. 6-9 years of experience in implementing large-scale banking system applications, supporting at least two projects' end-to-end SDLC from inception to rollout and post-production.
3. Proficiency in MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server, Java programming with Maven/Tomcat/Springboot, Windows IIS, SSH key exchange, Network Domain, and Control-M Scheduler jobs.
4. Experience in Linux, Redhat OS, Java compilation, Shell scripting, Connect-Direct, SFTP, and DevOps pipeline tools like BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, and Code promotion via tools like Aldon LME.
