Enterprise Solutions Architect - Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our team. As an expert in infrastructure setup and configuration, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale banking systems from inception to roll out.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SDLC implementation, including hardware, operating system, database, middleware, and software setup. You should be familiar with configuring applications for deployment and using DevOps tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and enhancing custom-developed middleware Java applications used for file transformation, encryption, decryption, and transmission to external systems via multiple protocols. Additionally, you will develop scripts for batch jobs and interfaces, set up online and batch interface connectivity, design and implement Control-M job scheduling, and support SSL certificate injection and renewal.

You will also monitor application services in Unix/Linux and Windows, create PowerShell, bash/shell scripts to maintain services, and ensure server health. Furthermore, you will supervise and guide team members to improve teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements
  • A degree in IT or a computer-related subject from a recognized university.
  • 6-9 years of experience in implementing applications for large-scale banking systems, supporting at least 2 projects' end-to-end SDLC from inception to roll out and post-production.
  • Technical skills in MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server knowledge, SQL programming, batch scripting, Java programming with Maven/Tomcat/Springboot, Windows IIS, SSH key exchange, network domain, and Control-M scheduler jobs.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Redhat OS, Java compilation, shell scripting, Connect-Direct, SFTP, Devops pipeline, BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, and Code promotion via tools like Aldon LME or equivalent.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills – both written and spoken.
