For our battery assembly factory in Batam, we are looking for a committed, integrity and competent individual to join our dynamic team as:
Actively managing CP-operations, bringing together production, engineering, automation and QC-teams with a focus of high efficiency, increasing automation level, tight production monitoring, improvement of processes and fulfilment of customer requirements.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily CP-production activities and cross functional communications to facilitate smooth execution of planned production orders and timely shipments.
Work with production and engineering department on continual improvement projects, implementation of lean principles /six sigma, cutting off of inefficient processes, improve availability, performance and yield.
Coordinate all relevant departments to spearhead new high volume / important customer projects, to establish smooth manufacturing process, in timely manner.
Proactively and with high priority respond to customer query/compliant (provided by Q.C –Singapore/Sales/Customer window) and communicate to all relevant departments. Evaluate the seriousness and urgency of customer feedback/compliant and act on the FACA.
Participate in customer visits, various audits (internal/external/customer. Audits/layered audits), plan and lead action items if any, and proactively support the introduction of new standards (like automotive or medical).
GENERAL QUALIFICATION:
Degree/Diploma with minimum 15 years of manufacturing field experience.
Work experience with planning, production, process engineering, quality departments.
Able to participate/conduct internal/external/customer Audits.
Proven LEAN production or Six Sigma knowledge
Knowledge of ISO9001 systems and 5 Core tools.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 is of additional advantage.
Fluency is in English language essential, esp. also to communicate with customers on regular basis, to guide customers during audits or preparations of operational reports.
Fluency in MS office is must (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
SAP knowledge can be an added advantage.
