Our client, a well-established Private Equity firm, is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their close-knit finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to PE fund accounting in a dynamic environment where learning and professional development are valued. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the fund accounting function, working on a portfolio of private equity funds and SPVs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise while working in a collaborative, supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities Review and oversee the work of fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliance Prepare LP reports for funds and special purpose vehicles Work closely with the finance team on fund accounting matters Collaborate with investment teams on deal-related accounting requirementsSupport year-end closing and audit processes After training, potentially manage a fund independently What We're Looking For Approximately 5 years of accounting experience Strong fund accounting background, preferably in Private Equity or Venture Capital funds Experience reviewing fund administrator work or working within a fund administration environment Commercial accounting experience (not exclusively audit background)Strong technical accounting skills with attention to detail Adaptable mindset with ability to think outside the box and problem‐solve independently Team player who thrives in a collaborative, close‐knit environment Buy‐side experience in PE, VC, or asset management Experience with capital calls, distributions, and IRR calculations Understanding of LP reporting requirements and fund structures What's On Offer Flexible work arrangement with designated work‐from‐home day Small, friendly team culture with minimal politics Exposure to diverse learning opportunities across fundraising, new fund setup, and deal‐related activities Collaborative environment where team members support each other Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‐time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals #J-18808-Ljbffr
