Ballet Instructor Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced ballet instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching ballet to children aged 3 and above, with a strong focus on fostering a love of dance in our students.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in dance education or a related field, as well as recognized teaching qualifications in at least one style (e.g., RAD, CSTD, ISTD). They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a dynamic and engaging teaching style, and exceptional organizational and planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver impactful instruction for students aged 3 and above.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and nurturing learning environment that ignites a genuine love for dance.
  • Craft and implement curriculum tailored to various ages and skill levels, ensuring progression and engagement.
  • Assess student progress through ongoing evaluation and maintain detailed records.
  • Prepare students for dance examinations, ensuring technical accuracy and artistic expression.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, building a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Dance Education or related field.
  • Recognized teaching qualification in at least one offered style (e.g., RAD, CSTD, ISTD).
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience teaching dance to children aged 3 and above.
  • Documented professional dance experience (performance and/or choreography) highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing students for competitions and examinations.
