Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Preschool Teacher to deliver a quality program that fosters holistic learning and development of preschoolers. The role involves planning engaging circle‐time and small‐group activities, creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment, and managing daily classroom routines including lessons, play, breaks and meals. Responsibilities Deliver age‐appropriate lessons that engage children and encourage purposeful play. Plan and facilitate inquiry‐based, play‐based learning experiences. Collaborate with parents to guide and share their child's growth and development. Maintain a tidy, well‐organised classroom and manage classroom activities. Keep accurate records of each child's progress and provide regular progress reports. Work closely with the principal and teaching staff to establish and develop effective pupil assessment procedures. Build positive links with parents and maintain professional dialogue with colleagues. Guide, motivate and support assistant teachers. Contribute to pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour management of all children. Promote respect and tolerance for each child's social, cultural and religious background. Create a learning environment that encourages independent learning and daily care for children. Ensure children's safety and hygiene, and maintain health and safety regulations. Qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education, Teaching or equivalent; or a recognised L2/Certificate such as DECCE‐T, ACEY, or L1/L2 by ECDA. At least 1–2 years of teaching experience in a pre‐school environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Passionate and dedicated educator with patience and a love for children. Knowledge or willingness to acquire inquiry‐based learning methods. Computer literacy and ability to work independently. For Mandarin‐focused roles: Diploma in Early Childhood Education – Teaching (Mandarin) with a minimum B4 in Mandarin at GCE 'O' Level or equivalent, and ability to teach in Chinese. Location Islandwide – specific sites include Bartley, Tampines, Lakeside, Mountbatten, Sembawang, Upper East Coast and Pasir Ris.
