Food Safety Specialist Job Opportunity

This role involves overseeing and implementing a food safety assurance system to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality control in the workplace.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in food safety systems and compliance, as well as knowledge of ISO 22000 and SFA standards. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer a Food Safety Assurance System that meets all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into food safety incidents, identify causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Carry out regular compliance checks and internal audits across all premises to ensure adherence to SFA standards.
  • Rectify any food safety issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain and update ISO 22000 documentation for the central kitchen, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in food safety systems and compliance is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 22000 and SFA standards is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
