About the team The TikTok Shop Search Operations Team is dedicated to establishing and enhancing users' awareness of shopping on TikTok, spurring users' e-commerce demands, elevating the user experience, and driving the growth of the e-commerce business. We aim to improve the quality of the query, evaluate and optimize the outcome of the machine's results, and provide data sets for model training to better distinguish various intents of TikTok search queries. By identifying whether the user's manual search terms have e-commerce intentions and judging their e-commerce relevance score, the system can better determine whether to recommend more e-commerce‐related search terms to users. Responsibilities Be responsible for strategy optimization in e-commerce search scenarios, live streaming & short video search entrances, and e-commerce‐related search scenarios for global business. Collaborate with multiple teams, including product, data, algorithm, and technology, to develop product and experiment plans, conduct in‐depth analysis of crowd experiment frameworks and growth indicators, and take direct responsibility for growth results. Understand various product linkages and risks, analyze problems exposed by existing product functions, develop effective crowd, scenario, channel, and content strategies, and promote the implementation of these strategies to continuously improve users' experiences in search and recommendation scenarios. Develop and train executable operational processes based on current strategies, and collaborate with local teams to evaluate strategies related to the recommendation experience. Possess a strong understanding of e-commerce videos, live streaming, products, and major holiday promotions. Independently conduct analysis of product function status, build evaluation processes, perform experience evaluation to verify analysis conclusions, conduct usability testing and analysis on products, and propose improvement plans. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above, with relevant work experience before, having a good understanding of e-commerce business. In this role you will be collaborating extensively with engineer, product teams and directly report to leadership team based in China, high proficiency in using English and Mandarin for both oral and written parts as working languages are required for this role. Strong self‐motivation and pressure resistance, clear logic, and willingness to analyze the essence of events. Be good at solving problems systematically, with a strong affinity, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficient in driving cross‐departmental cooperation to achieve goals. Possess excellent data analysis capabilities and keen problem‐discovery skills, and be good at reasonably attributing causes through fluctuating data. Independently undertake product project management and plan design from the perspective of user experience, with innovative thinking to achieve breakthroughs in user experience.
