Role Overview: The candidate will be part of a team that plans and executes strategies for developing national and international AI standards to support Singapore's digital economy. This includes promoting AI standards to encourage adoption within the info-communication industry. Responsibilities include: Engaging with industry members (domestic and international) to develop relevant AI standards. Advising stakeholders on the adoption and implementation of standards, guidelines, and best practices. Monitoring developments in global policy and standards related to AI. Participating in and advancing Singapore's position in international AI standardisation efforts. Supporting projects, events, and research related to AI. The candidate will also assist with general tasks within the Standards Development and Regulatory Technology division. Qualifications: Background in Communication Engineering or relevant disciplines. At least 2 years of experience in relevant fields. Strong technical aptitude and interest in new technologies. Understanding of info-communication domains such as AI and machine learning is preferred. Familiarity with info-communication standardisation is an advantage. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work in a dynamic environment. Good report writing and communication skills.
