This is a role for an Application Lifecycle Management Specialist . The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering and technical skills in scripting for applications, GitLab, Jira, Confluence and other DevOps tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering.
  • Technical skills in scripting for applications, GitLab, Jira, Confluence and other DevOps tools.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)/Quality Assurance processes.
  • At least 2 years' experience of maintaining DevOps system/application such as Microfocus/OpenText solutions will be added advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Worked in user-centric environment with focus on quality delivery.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision under tight schedules.
  • Able to work well both independently and in a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support services for DevOps/Integrated Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system.
  • Maintain ALM applications and its infrastructure in production and non-production environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ALM incidents raised by users as per Service Level Agreement.
  • Create DevOps workflows based on the ALM workflows.
  • Set up new user's accounts and profiles.
  • Liaise with the ALM product IT support when necessary.
  • Ensure integration and connectivity of ALM with other systems.
  • Provide training for users on updated ALM workflows, features and recommend best practices.
  • Support users to publish documents and create templates.
  • Migrate from ALM applications to the recommended tools.
  • Recommend optimal processes and workflows customized to achieve better system performance.
  • Review and update user guide on new application features and its usage.
  • Report weekly status on issues status and system resources utilization.
