We are seeking an experienced
ICT Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)
to support a large-scale cloud transformation program within a statutory board. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to ensure security, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to implement best practices, strengthen compliance, and optimize cloud usage.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure and services (compute, storage, networking, and security).
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve complex cloud service issues.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of cloud environments, proactively addressing potential risks.
Drive cloud automation initiatives, improving efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
Prepare and maintain documentation, operating procedures, and best practices.
Participate in planning and deploying cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
Keep up to date with emerging cloud technologies, security standards, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience as a
Cloud Engineer / ICT Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud) , with strong knowledge of
AWS and Azure
platforms.
Hands-on expertise with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools such as
Terraform ; scripting experience (Python, Bash) is an advantage.
Good understanding of cloud networking, infrastructure services, and security best practices.
Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks in cloud deployments.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
More than
8 years of experience
in ICT Infrastructure / Cloud engineering roles.
Experience across both
Linux and Windows
environments.
Prior experience working in large-scale or government/financial institutions is a plus.
