Residential ICT Trainer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential ICT Trainer to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT training to students in local government schools, managing ICT inventory, supporting teachers, planning and driving key ICT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a passion for teaching and education, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Plan and conduct ICT lessons for students in school.
  • Develop and customize ICT curriculum and resources according to school's ICT plan.
  • Assess student skills, provide training and development opportunities.
  • Support the Head of Department in supervising, managing and assisting TAs and Residential ICT Trainers.
  • Manage and maintain ICT and AVA inventory.
  • Provide technical assistance to school staff and students.
  • Plan and allocate tasks for the ICT department.
  • Assist teachers in using ICT for teaching and learning.
  • Mentor and train students to participate in ICT competitions.
  • Cover photography, videography and AV duties for events in school.
  • Update and maintain the school website.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • ITE qualification, diplomas or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Good knowledge of ICT, multimedia or media.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and education.
  • A valid MOE-IRS Registration.
