Overview Head (Product Management), AI Products at HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency), a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). HTX pioneers innovation solutions and develops world‐class science and technology capabilities to transform the Home Team and enhance public safety and security in Singapore. What The Role Is HTxAI Products team empowers the Home Team Department (HTD) flagship projects by integrating AI technologies. The Head, Product Management leads the product management team in identifying opportunities, developing, and managing an array of AI and Digital products in the homeland security space while aligning with HTX's strategic direction. Responsibilities Lead product team(s) to develop, update, and prioritize long‐term product roadmaps by partnering with stakeholders and users. Prioritize delivery of products and product features; define launch parameters such as MVP, versioning, releases, and go‐to‐market communication. Collaborate with Solution & Design team to identify and validate problem statements that help agile teams conceptualize or innovate new AI and digital solutions or evolve current AI and digital product features. Engage cross‐functional stakeholders by communicating value propositions that deliver digital solutions which optimize resources and reduce time‐to‐market and cost. Evaluate and execute commercial opportunities to co‐develop solutions or integrate commercially available products to realize product goals. Recommend and manage appropriate methodologies for user discovery and validation, agile development and testing, and reporting of results on a regular and consistent basis. Manage cross‐functional agile teams comprising solution and design, engineering, and engagement teams while ensuring alignment on product requirements, feature prioritization, development, and delivery. Manage team resources and work performance; match individual aspiration with stakeholders' requirements. Qualifications Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in information systems, computer science, business, or social sciences. Min. 5 to 8 years in digital product management or similar role, with experience leading a team of product managers. Demonstrated success in defining, launching, and scaling a product. Knowledge of agile development processes and product methodologies such as lean and design thinking. Technical understanding of digital trends and technologies that include harnessing emerging technologies. Good to have experience in AI‐related technologies, AI/ML, Data Science and Data Analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and prioritization skills. Ability to deal with uncertainty and adapt to changes, pivot product strategy as customer needs or business strategy evolve. Emphatic to user‐centric requirements and product usability. A deep passion for product development and motivated to build great products that bring value to users. Data‐driven in decision making, using data and insights to inform product strategy and prioritize features. Supportive and empowering leadership style, focusing on helping the team develop, grow and deliver good results. Strong collaborative skills, working effectively with cross‐functional teams and stakeholders to bring a product from ideation to delivery. Additional Details All new hires are appointed on a two‐year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
