The Senior Test Manager leads the end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution across complex projects or programs for a financial institutionKey Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end test planning, execution, and delivery across multiple banking projects and platforms. Define and implement test strategies aligned with regulatory requirements, risk controls, and business objectives. Manage functional, non-functional, regression, and UAT testing across core banking systems, digital channels, and middleware. Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to ensure test coverage and traceability.VP Lead test teams across onshore and offshore locations, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery. Monitor test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and governance forums. Ensure compliance with internal QA standards and external audit requirements, including MAS and APRA guidelines. Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement in testing processes and tools. Manage vendor relationships and third-party testing engagements, ensuring SLA adherence and performance. Facilitate defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking to support production readiness. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in test management roles within banking or financial services. Proven experience in managing large-scale testing programs across multiple workstreams and geographies. Familiarity with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Selenium, Tosca, or equivalent. Knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable. Solid grasp of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and risk-based testing approaches. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with ability to influence across business and technology teams. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
