Overview Join to apply for the Manager (Office of Development)role at National University of Singapore Location: Kent Ridge Campus Organization: College of Design and Engineering Department: Dean's Office (College of Design & Eng)Responsibilities Stewardship of the College of Design and Engineering (CDE)'s donors, including collaboration with CDE’s Deanery and Departments and participation in engagement events and initiatives (such as donor appreciation events, fundraising events and beneficiary-donor engagement sessions). Active follow-up on matters relating to donors and internal stakeholders (such as proposal drafting, soliciting of more information and arranging follow-up meetings). Coordination with the Deanery and Departments on matters and enquiries related to gifts and donations, including liaison with the university-level Development Office and cross-functional units such as Finance and Admissions for necessary information exchanges and follow-ups. Collaboration with cross-functional units such as Office of Alumni Relations and Office of Student Life on opportunities to engage students and alumni in the spirit of giving. Collaboration with university-level Development Office to advance giving matters for CDE. Support gift administration processes ranging from gift acceptance, processing, recording and disbursement, including working with the Deanery and Departments to seek relevant approvals and address gift-related enquiries. Record keeping of documents and reports from the Deanery and Departments for audit purposes, including documentation and archiving of gift-related documents. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Strong written and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop excellent relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor, as well as collaborating within a team. An eye for detail to execute, monitor and follow-up on administrative and approval processes. Able to multi-task between donor-engagement and gift administration responsibilities. Prior relevant experience in donor engagement, gift administration or university administration is preferred (e.g. charitable organisations, etc.).
