We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic Capital Market Department
In this role, you will serve as the liaison between the business and technical teams in translating complex business needs into technological solutions. You will analyze business technology requirements and specifications against value and risk of potential solutions, and conduct cost-benefit and risk assessment analysis for proposed solutions to determine suitability.
Capital Markets IT involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, market risk, counterparty risk, algorithmic trading, data analytics, and regulatory measures. The use of advanced technologies like APIs, artificial intelligence, and cloud solutions are also becoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze business technology requirements and specifications against value and risk of potential solutions, identifying suitable technological solutions for the business.
Examine interactions between systems elements, systems performance and issues, and design the solution blueprint for the specific area of expertise with consideration of implications for integration across the entire solution.
Translate business requirements and user needs into functional and technical specifications, ensuring that business requirements are incorporated into the solution design.
Evaluate the feasibility, viability, and implications of proposed solutions and/or enhancements to systems on the current and future business environment.
Balance requests and competing priorities from key stakeholders to maximize the value delivered to the organization.
Present business cases defining potential benefits and solutions to increase efficiencies of business processes and associated risks.
Create, review, and maintain documentation of design documents, coding documents, and user manuals.
Specify business rules for regulatory reporting, business operations, and transformations.
Functional design and testing of solutions.

Qualifications and Profile
Technical
7 years relevant experience.
Skilled in data analysis using database queries (SQL/Oracle/Sybase), TSQL, and JOINS.
Good working understanding of Microservices and Swagger UI.
Basic knowledge of UNIX Commands and Scripting.
Hands-on experience sourcing data from various applications covering various data formats like CIBML/Kafka messages/JSON.
Strong understanding of CFT concepts.
Strong knowledge of XSLT transformation and tools like Oxygen OS.
Desirable to have Messaging Queue concepts and tools like Hermes.
Basic understanding of tools like Grafana, KIBANA, EJB.
Good understanding of GIT, JIRA, and Agile project management concepts.
Strong communication skills with various business and IT stakeholders to bring consensus on requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
Proven ability to handle tasks independently.
Functional
Experience in supporting capital market applications and trading systems, ideally within the dynamic landscape of Market Risk/Front Office operations with a commendable grasp of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, RSF, etc.).
Hands-on expertise on various transaction reporting regulations like MIFID2/SFTR/EMIR/CFTC and any APAC transaction regulatory reporting.
Strong experience in Market data, Pricing, Clearing & Settlement, Confirmation, Affirmation concepts, and Regulatory data sourcing from various upstream platforms like Jet Stream, TradeWeb, MarkitWire.
Strong functional knowledge of financial products (Derivative products like IRS, TRS, CDS, etc.) and regulatory reporting.
Ability to drive end-to-end regulatory projects with complete ownership.
Good understanding of data sourcing from various front office applications like Kondo, Summit, OT.
Experience of capital market processes, e.g. Pricing, Sales/Trader workflow, etc.
