Overview Direct and lead Building Management and Engineering Services for works to be carried out in accordance to requirements and ensure no service disruptions and delays. Plan and ensure timely implementation of maintenance works/services and major capex replacements to ensure the building systems/services perform as intended. Develop equipment replacement and/or upgrading plans to improve building conditions and service level. Search and evaluate new technologies that can improve productivity and/or equipment efficiency for better cost efficiency. Supervise and ensure works carried out are in compliance to regulatory and contractual requirements. Manage overall building security and safety enforcements to enhance overall customers' experience. Responsibilities Cost Management: Develop annual operating and capital expenditure budgets for all works to be carried out based on building plans, maintenance schedule and operation requirements. Cost Management: Manage and control expenditures to be within budgets. Contract Management: Plan for contract renewals to ensure no disruption to services and operations. Contract Management: Evaluate tender/quotation submissions for recommendations to award. Contract Management: Evaluate vendors’ performance to identify areas for improvement. Contract Management: Propose and evaluate new contract models for better cost efficiency and productivity. Tenant Fit-out, Additions & Alterations and AEI Works: Supervise tenants’ fit out for compliance to requirements under the tenancy design and/or fit-out guidelines and regulatory requirements. Tenant Fit-out, Additions & Alterations and AEI Works: Revise and update the tenancy design and/or fit-out guidelines periodically for alignment with new requirements and/or standards. Tenant Fit-out, Additions & Alterations and AEI Works: Advice on change of uses, reconfiguration, subdivision of tenanted units for compliance to building system and regulatory requirements. Tenant Fit-out, Additions & Alterations and AEI Works: Participate and contribute in Asset Enhancement Initiative and provide supports to key stakeholders and Tenants for a smooth delivery of the works. Any other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent Job Requirements: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in facilities management with 3 years in people management role Job Requirements: Preferably with experience in retail mall or real estate industry Job Requirements: Possess experience and knowledge in sustainability (e.g. Green Mark Certification) initiatives and regulation requirements (e.g. carbon emission footprint)Job Requirements: Possess fire safety manager certification is preferred Job Requirements: Strong people management skills with ability to lead, guide and coach team Job Requirements: Good communication and presentation skills required to collaborate with management and across the organization Job Requirements: bizSAFE Level-2 Certification is preferred We would prefer for interested candidates to apply directly through our Career portal at for a faster and more streamlined application process.
