A key objective of this position is to oversee the design, integration, and testing of embedded systems for a cutting-edge quantum gravimeter. We are looking for an individual with extensive expertise in firmware and embedded systems.

About This Role

This role offers a unique opportunity for someone to drive technical advancements and collaborate with experts to achieve high-performance results.

  • Oversee the integration of FPGA, DDS, and embedded systems into our quantum gravimeter.
  • Collaborate with external experts to meet system requirements for firmware and embedded projects.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and compatibility through rigorous testing of firmware systems.
  • Define firmware requirements and features in conjunction with the CTO and physics team.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in firmware or embedded systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern FPGA, DDS, ADC, DAC, SoC, DAQ, and microcontroller technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python (C++ knowledge is beneficial).
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on robustness, debugging, and handling edge cases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Self-motivation, confidence, and ability to move projects forward independently.
  • A genuine passion for emerging technologies.
