Embedded Systems Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Systems Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who have a strong passion for embedded systems and firmware development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and debug embedded software in C programming language, ensuring high-quality code that meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronic components, utilizing effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Develop firmware for microcontrollers, processors, and other embedded platforms, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in embedded development, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Document designs, code, and testing procedures, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in relevant concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of C programming for embedded systems, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers/microprocessors (ARM, PIC, AVR, etc.), understanding their architecture, peripherals, and interfaces.
  • Basic understanding of hardware-software integration, including bus protocols, memory management, and I/O operations.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills, using logical reasoning and analytical thinking to resolve complex issues.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, embracing innovation and continuous learning.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) or bare-metal programming, applying knowledge of synchronization primitives, interrupts, and scheduling techniques.
  • Understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet), designing and implementing reliable data transfer mechanisms.
  • Experience with embedded development tools (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), leveraging these resources to optimize development efficiency and effectiveness.
