Job Description About the role: The Associate Director Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls Management is responsible for leading and managing the engineering operations within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met in production processes. By optimizing chemical processes and implementing safety protocols, this role contributes to Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world. How you will contribute: Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic organizational goals Guide teams to success and foster a collaborative and productive environment Communicate complex concepts clearly across different levels of the organization Ensure quality and compliance in all processes, serving as a point of reference for best practices Manage budgets meticulously, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints Solve complex problems strategically, contributing to long-term organizational goals Implement safety protocols diligently, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety standards Skills and qualifications: Applies advanced chemical process design techniques in complex manufacturing scenarios, capable of guiding others. Communicates complex concepts clearly across different levels of the organization, adapting messaging to meet audience needs. Ensures quality and compliance in all processes, serving as a point of reference for best practices in chemical manufacturing. Manages budgets meticulously, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints. Prioritizes tasks effectively, with a capability to coach others in advanced prioritization techniques. Solves complex problems strategically, contributing to long-term organizational goals. Plans and executes strategies that enhance operational efficiency and safety in chemical processes. Implements safety protocols diligently, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety standards. Optimizes chemical processes to maximize efficiency and product quality, applying innovative solutions. Coaches and develops team members, enhancing their skills and aligning their growth with organizational needs. As a leader of a functional area or organization, you will set objectives, delegate tasks, and ensure operational success, with reviews by senior management. You will also help shape company policies, tackle complex problems, and meet budgets and schedules. Your responsibilities include managing projects, influencing organizational goals, maintaining frequent communication with peers and customers, and leading teams and projects, serving as a best practice/quality resource.
