Roles & Responsibilities Job Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Centre Operator (ITO) to support the operations of our data centers. This role provides round-the-clock (24x7x365) monitoring and first-level support to ensure system availability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24x7x365 operational support for data centers. Monitor system alerts and events from tools such as Automic, SFX, Email alerts, ITOM, CCTV, BMS and NetBackup, ensuring timely response and accurate ticket logging. Supervise and manage batch job execution to ensure completion within defined timeframes without impacting online operations. Deliver on-site "smart hands" assistance for critical support tasks, including hardware checks and coordination with remote teams. Maintain the safety, security, and operational integrity of the data center environments at all times. Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution. Document incidents, shift handovers, and daily operational logs accurately. Carry out routine equipment and infrastructure checks, escalating anomalies when necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall data center operations. Requirements: Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 1–2 years of experience in IT operations or data center environment. Familiarity with system monitoring and job scheduling tools such as Automic, ITOM, and NetBackup. Strong multitasking and analytical skills; able to handle high-volume alerts and tickets efficiently. Willing to work on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays. Physically fit to support on-site operational tasks in a secure environment. Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
