**Job Title:** Foreign Exchange Trader

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Foreign Exchange Trader to join our team.

**Job Description:** As a Foreign Exchange Trader, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's FX exposure and risk. You will leverage on various FX tools to generate profit for the company, provide market analysis and trading strategies based on an in-depth understanding of global geopolitical, markets, and macroeconomic developments. You will collaborate with other trading teams to support the company's overall profitability, ensuring trading risks are in accordance with internal and external compliance regulations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or Masters in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience or experience in FX Trading, some of which is gained in the commodity trading environment;
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in FX Trading with good P&L records in FX Trading;
  • Able to converse well in English and Mandarin (as this person will liaise in Mandarin at times with some HQ colleagues);
  • Possess strong communication skills to communicate different stakeholders;
  • Highly numerate and strong in mathematics;
  • Well-versed with programming, modelling, and data analysis;
  • A good team player who is proactive, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
