Overview To assist the Centre Manager in the overall daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre. Job Functions To coordinate support services and organize inter-generational activities for the seniors in the identified blocks within the service cluster Ensure that the programs and activities meet the performance indicators and operating guidelines issued by AIC and preparation of reports To mentor and motivate a team of AAC staff and volunteers Befriending and Buddying of identified seniors To conduct regular outreach to the seniors in the identified blocks Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups Preparation and submission of internal and external reports Supervision and manning of the Alert Alarm System To maintain and update Information and Referral Service record and follow-up actions Assisting seniors with letter reading, handphone issues Up-keeping of facilities and equipment provided in the centre Qualifications & Experience "A" Level / Diploma in Community & Social Service At least one to two years of related working experience At least one to two years of volunteering experience Special Aptitude & Knowledge People-oriented and passionate towards working with seniors and for seniors. Knowledge of the role and function of Active Aging Centre would be an added advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
