About The Team
Have you ever ordered a product from the Shopee platform tagged with “Fulfilled by Shopee”? Do you wonder how it got to you so fast and where it came from? If so, Shopee FBS product team is for you. We own and build large scale distributed systems that:
manage inventory planning and suppliers performance for our Retail biz, including forecasting, buying, sourcing, inventory placement and inventory health;
offer fulfillment services to our sellers, known as FBS (Fulfilled by Shopee);
process millions of requests per second to determine optimal shipping from warehouses to customers;
provide in-house system solutions for warehouse inventory management and order fulfillment.
Job Description
Initiate, define, plan, and manage the rollout of product features and enhancements for your assigned initiatives.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-standard product solutions, understanding the impact of technical decisions on scalability and innovation.
Measure and analyze the impact of changes, establish mechanisms for auditing and course correction to meet business goals.
Support during rollout and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Engage with cross-functional stakeholders including Ordering, Listing, Transportation, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of product management experience in tech, with a proven track record of delivering scalable features and products.
Excellent problem-solving skills related to Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, or Inventory Management.
Detail-oriented with strong self-motivation and project follow-through.
Independent, quick learner, flexible, with a strong customer focus.
Effective communication skills across all organizational levels (technical, business, executive).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous entrepreneurial environment.
Proficiency in English; Mandarin speaking is a plus for collaboration with China counterparts.
Strong analytical skills; experience with quantitative tools is advantageous.
Experience in a software development or scientific environment is a plus.
