Product Associate (Design & Procurement) - Singapore BarberBoss is a British challenger brand in personal care, founded in 2020 . We design “affordable premium” products across grooming, oral care and hair‐styling for men, women and pets , and sell in 10 European countries (including the UK) . We run with a startup mindset - a small, flat team , weekly all‐hands , and an AI‐first approach that helps us decide fast and ship well. As one of the few direct suppliers to Amazon in our category (Amazon Vendor) , we convert insight into action, launching 30-50 new SKUs each quarter, with an obsessive focus on customer experience . We’re also the Official Sleeve Sponsor & Shaving Partner of West Bromwich Albion , now in our third consecutive season . Our Singapore Office is the bridge between our European (and future international) markets and our supply chain - the place where Western brand‐building meets Eastern manufacturing. Your Role Be the bridge: Serve as a key contact between our UK office and the China procurement team , keeping everyone aligned on timelines and priorities. Work with suppliers: Liaise with factories in China on samples, specifications, pricing, timelines and quality checks . Keep trackers tight and flag risks early. Packaging you can ship: Use our packaging templates to create/update artwork so it’s ready for printing - product names, features, barcodes and safety icons in the right places, colours/finishes confirmed, files exported correctly. Make listings that sell: Build Amazon product content - image sets, comparison charts and A+ Content - that’s clear, on‐brand and conversion‐focused. Use AI to go faster: Generate quick visual concepts using AI tools (plus Canva and Photoshop ), then refine and finish them to production quality. Spot what’s next: Track trends and competitors; shortlist new products and identify new categories 2-3 quarters ahead . Launch cleanly: Prepare checklists, double‐check assets and hand everything to the right teammates so listings go live smoothly. Help us scale: Create reusable templates and straightforward SOPs so the team gets faster every month. Collaborate broadly: Coordinate with teammates across product, design and marketing to keep projects moving. What you’ll bring Portfolio that shows taste and craft (packaging, e‐commerce imagery/infographics or similar). Tools: Comfortable with Canva and Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator a plus). Curious to explore AI to speed up ideation. Languages: English & Mandarin (required to liaise with Mandarin‐speaking suppliers/factories and read Chinese technical/packaging materials). Traits: Hands‐on, switched‐on, resilient; willing to learn, commit and stay flexible in a fast‐moving startup. Experience: 0–3 years in design, product, e‐commerce or operations. Polytechnic and university graduates are welcome - we hire for attitude and skillset . Nice to have: Experience running your own e‐commerce/FBA projects; basic photography/retouch; simple video edits; comfort with spreadsheets. Right to work: Already based in Singapore with valid work authorisation.
