*Seeking a Shipping/Vessel Operations professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the Commodities/Shipping industry, specifically handling DPP/CPP.*

THE COMPANY

This rapidly growing company specializes in various product offerings. They are currently looking for an Operations Executive to join their Operations team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Propose cargo stowage plans
  • Develop optimized bunker calculations
  • Negotiate LOI, ship contracts (STS, mooring, agency, towage)
  • Plan vessel routes
  • Issue voyage instructions
  • Screen vessels for operations
  • Arrange bunkering for time-chartered fleets and STS transfers
  • Manage adhoc projects and system enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with Traders, Operations, Trade Finance, Finance, and other relevant departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Business, Economics, Logistics, International Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Shipping/Vessel Operations experience in the Commodities or Shipping industry, handling Tankers (DPP/CPP)
  • Ability to handle MR-sized Vessels, VLCCs, Aframax, LR, Suezmax
  • Highly organized, meticulous, team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
