Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping/Vessel Operations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the Commodities/Shipping industry handling DPP/CPP.

The selected candidate will be responsible for proposing cargo stowage plans, negotiating on LOI and ship contracts, planning vessels' routes, issuing voyage instructions, screening vessels, arranging bunkering of time-chartered fleet and STS transfers, and dealing with ad-hoc projects and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Propose optimized bunker calculations
  • Negotiate on LOI and ship contracts (STS, mooring, agency, towage)
  • Plan vessels' routes
  • Issue voyage instructions
  • Screen vessels
  • Arrange bunkering of time-chartered fleet and STS transfers
  • Deal with ad-hoc project and system enhancements
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma Holder in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Business, Economics, Logistics, or International Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Shipping/Vessel Operations in the Commodities/Shipping industry
  • Able to handle MR sized VL's/VLCC/Aframax/LR/Suezmax
  • Highly organized, meticulous, team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
