Music Instructor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Music Instructor to join our team. As an accomplished musician, you will be responsible for guiding students in their musical journey, helping them develop their talents, enhance their creativity, and build confidence through quality music education.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and a bright, cheerful personality that can inspire students and make lessons exciting. Confidence in speaking and engaging with students, parents, and colleagues is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging one-on-one lessons in piano, guitar, violin, or voice, creating a fun and exciting experience for students of all ages.
  • Deliver structured lessons following the curriculum, ensuring students develop strong musical skills while fostering a lifelong love for music.
  • Use interactive teaching methods, personalized instruction, and creative exercises to keep students motivated and eager to learn.
  • Prepare students for performances and provide clear goals and guidance every step of the way.
  • Provide regular progress updates to parents through the app, ensuring they stay informed and engaged in their child's musical journey.
  • Organize student performances and showcase events that give students the confidence to perform in front of an audience and celebrate their achievements.
  • Represent the organization at outreach events, roadshows, and other initiatives to promote the joy of music education and connect with new students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's, Bachelor's, or Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM) – we value passionate and well-trained musicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Confidence in public speaking and presentation, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
