Responsibilities
Cumulative Yield Ownership: Lead cross-functional initiatives to significantly enhance yield and quality, driving substantial benefits for the organization.
Data Analysis for Yield Improvement and Reliability: Use in-house statistical tools, machine learning, and AI to enhance yields and reliability, integrating improvements within the Dispo workflow.
Models/Algorithm Development: Develop state-of-the-art algorithms, including ML/DL models for data mining, pattern recognition, wafer/die level screening, and efficiency enhancements.
Product Disposition Solutions: Develop, validate and deploy product-disposition solutions (wormhole) to ensure quality and reduce DPM through a comprehensive disposition program/workflow.
Deviation Alert System: Create a deviation alert system to monitor yield loss and trends across wafers/dies/cubes.
Data Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with IT, Manufacturing, and Operations to develop and enhance data infrastructure pipelines using cloud technologies to support reliability and engineering assessments.
Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop team members to foster growth within the team and organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to ensure holistic development and successful shipping of end products.
Promotion of Innovation: Promote innovation and drive changes that provide a technical advantage over competitors.
AI/ML Advocate: Collaborate to develop, deploy, and validate AI/ML models aimed at improving KPIs such as Quality, Cost, Cycle Time, and Scale.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
At least 6 years of experience in data analytics/science; experience in Micron Product Engineering or the semiconductor industry is preferred.
Proven experience leading analytic projects from conception to completion.
Strong leadership and technical skills with a deep understanding of data analytics, data extraction, and analysis tools such as JMP, Tableau, and Power BI.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning, with experience in TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
Programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate across teams; experience mentoring and coaching is a plus.
Flexible, accountable, and adaptable in a dynamic environment (from leading the team to leading technical programs).
On-site work in Singapore with international travel to Taiwan.
