The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading technology MNC to hire an experienced
Senior Revenue Accountant
Focus : Oversee revenue accounting operations, manage monthly close activities, ensure SOX compliance, and support internal/external audits.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and supporting business continuity through system improvements and controls.
This is a
12-months contractual
position (renewable).
The Talent
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress)
Minimum 3 years of experience in
Revenue Accounting
Strong understanding of
full-cycle accounting
and revenue recognition
Proficient in
Oracle Cloud ERP
and
Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous, analytical, and a strong team player
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
RevPro
or other revenue management tools
Familiarity with
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
requirements
Background in
public accounting
or technical revenue guidance
Exposure to
audit coordination
and revenue control testing
Ability to work across functions and manage multiple data sources
The Job
Prepare and reconcile revenue-related GL accounts (e.g.,
Deferred Revenue, Unbilled A/R )
Generate journal entries and perform monthly/quarterly closing activities
Conduct detailed analysis of revenue and balance sheet fluctuations
Operate revenue systems such as
RevPro
to validate data accuracy
Support internal and external audits with complete and timely documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize revenue leakage
Maintain and improve
revenue accounting procedures and controls
Consolidate data across systems and prepare internal management reports
Participate in
UAT and system testing
for billing or ERP enhancements
Perform other ad hoc reporting or analysis tasks as needed
