Roles & Responsibilities

The Opportunity

  • We are partnering with a leading technology MNC to hire an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant
  • Focus: Oversee revenue accounting operations, manage monthly close activities, ensure SOX compliance, and support internal/external audits.
  • This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and supporting business continuity through system improvements and controls.
  • This is a 12-months contractual position (renewable).

The Talent

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Revenue Accounting
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and revenue recognition
  • Proficient in Oracle Cloud ERP and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous, analytical, and a strong team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RevPro or other revenue management tools
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
  • Background in public accounting or technical revenue guidance
  • Exposure to audit coordination and revenue control testing
  • Ability to work across functions and manage multiple data sources

The Job

  • Prepare and reconcile revenue-related GL accounts (e.g., Deferred Revenue, Unbilled A/R)
  • Generate journal entries and perform monthly/quarterly closing activities
  • Conduct detailed analysis of revenue and balance sheet fluctuations
  • Operate revenue systems such as RevPro to validate data accuracy
  • Support internal and external audits with complete and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize revenue leakage
  • Maintain and improve revenue accounting procedures and controls
  • Consolidate data across systems and prepare internal management reports
  • Participate in UAT and system testing for billing or ERP enhancements
  • Perform other ad hoc reporting or analysis tasks as needed
