Buyer/ Purchasing Officer - Manufacturing/ Few Headcounts

Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and procure electronics components and mechanical parts from suppliers that meet specified requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favorable quantities, and agreeable delivery terms.
  • Compare specifications and prices, proposing alternatives to engineers for approval.
  • Issue purchase orders based on requisitions, expedite urgent materials, and resolve discrepancies between delivery orders and invoices.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Stores to address any quality issues raised by suppliers and participate in annual ISO9001 & 14001 audits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in any field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Good communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and sourcing skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team
