As an Industrial Automation Specialist at our leading provider of industrial automation solutions in Kolkata, India, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation by integrating IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies. Your primary responsibility will involve leading the design, installation, and commissioning of industrial automation systems across diverse industries like manufacturing, energy, and utilities. You will provide comprehensive support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC, SCADA, and other automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing IoT Gateway solutions for data acquisition from industrial machines, facilitating seamless connectivity and real-time data analysis. Additionally, you will manage multiple client projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and high client satisfaction. Your expertise will be pivotal in mentoring and supporting the engineering team to build a skilled automation workforce capable of addressing complex challenges.Collaborating closely with clients, you will offer expert advice, understand their automation needs, and guide them through their transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0. If engaged as a consultant, you will provide ongoing support to the team, visiting the office at least once a week and being available for remote consultations as required.To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, a deep understanding of automation processes, PLC, SCADA systems, and IoT Gateway technologies. Proficiency in project management, communication, and leadership is essential, along with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Your willingness to work either full-time from our Kolkata office or as a consultant with regular on-site visits and remote availability is crucial for success in this position.Your skill set should encompass industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA systems, IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies, data acquisition, connectivity, engineering, installation, maintenance, team leadership, and client management. Strong client-facing skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key to delivering tailored automation solutions.For full-time roles, a competitive salary based on your experience and expertise will be offered. As a consultant, you will be expected to commit to at least one day per week on-site with a monthly retainer. Your availability for on-site work and remote consultations via phone or email as needed is a prerequisite for consultant engagements.,
