Nanyang Associate Professor page is loaded## Nanyang Associate Professorlocations: NTU Main Campus, Singaporetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R Responsibilities include but not limited to:**Research*** Lead a dynamic research team and succeeding in applications for external research funding, whether individually or as part of a team.* Publish research papers in top-ranked international peer-reviewed journals and other forms of publication within the research community.* Establish collaborations with local/overseas research institutions.* Participate in development opportunities to improve research and supervision skills.**Teaching*** Design, plan, and implement effective and inclusive teaching arrangements and learning activities for undergraduate- and graduate-level courses face-to-face and/or through virtual delivery.* Develop, design and continuously improve curriculum plans, course outlines, evaluation procedures and instruments to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensure student engagement.* Provide guidance and supervision to graduate and undergraduate students.* Seek student feedback on teaching through questionnaires or other sources and respond constructively to such feedback.* Contribute to the School's internal review and the external accreditation of subjects and programmes.**Service*** Participate in departmental meetings and in other committees and working groups as required.* Undertake specific departmental roles and management functions as required.* Provide academic support to other faculty members.* Participate in the School's outreach/admission-related events and activities to raise awareness of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree programmes.* Contribute to the University's academic community through developing and organising seminars/conferences.* Contribute to the wider academic community through active participation in professional scientific societies, editorships, international grant reviewerships, etc.Hiring Institution: NTUNTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).Ranked amongst the world's top universities by QS, NTU has also been named the world's top young university for the past seven years.
