Overview Service Engineer, 2-stroke Services role at Wärtsilä. This is a permanent opportunity located in Singapore. Responsibilities Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan Perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting on 2-stroke engines and ancillary equipment Provide technical advisory for repair activities executed on customers' responsibility Commissioning of service products On-site team leading and managing of the assigned team and related activities during the work execution Interact with customers during the work execution Coordinate with Field Services back office and Technical Services during work execution Provide internal and external progress status updates of the assigned work Ensure work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures Create the Service Work Reports Proactively consulting, advising, and promoting Wärtsilä solutions and products to customers Qualifications BSC Degree with 2–5 years of related experience Diploma in mechanical and marine engineering with more than 5 years of related experience Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills Good command of English, both written and oral Ability to work independently Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time Ability to create internal and external work reports Ability to communicate and interact well with customers and other stakeholders Literate in Information Management Applications/Tools such as MS Office Company Information Wärtsilä is a global leader in innovative technologies and lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets.
