About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Manager to join our team at Sephora Asia Pte Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing DEI strategies that drive business growth and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute country and region-specific DEI action plans, leveraging local demographic and inclusion data to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regional Purpose Lead and country GMs to ensure alignment and effective implementation of DEI strategies.
  • Consult and coach APAC leadership team, inclusion/business/DEI groups, and HR colleagues to build an inclusive and diverse culture and workforce.
  • Track DEI progress, driving accountability, transparency, and commitment to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in Sephora.
  • Partner with Recruiting to ensure diverse talent attraction and retention, and drive adoption of internal learning experiences.
  • Act as a subject matter advisor to integrate DEI content across Sephora's campaigns and programs, ensuring inclusive language and modifying discriminatory content where necessary.
  • Partner with the DEI committee to bring diversity initiatives to fruition.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Social Impact, DE&I, or other relevant areas, with at least 3 years of proven experience in driving DEI strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, social science, or equivalent fields.
  • Hands-on experience designing company policies around anti-discrimination and equal employer opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Excellent understanding of DEI programs and experience leading programs and relationships, with robust vocabulary related to diversity, equity, inclusion, social impact, and culture.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage to work with China-based stakeholders.
