Infectious Diseases Research Strategist

Develop and implement Singapore's infectious diseases research strategy to drive national objectives.
The role involves overseeing CDA research operations, building strategic partnerships locally and internationally, and collaborating with research divisions to achieve synergism in achieving CDA research objectives.
Key responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of Singapore's national infectious diseases research strategy, driving high-priority national infectious disease research initiatives and objectives, establishing strategic collaborations with local and international centres of excellence, supporting capability building in infectious diseases research, monitoring and evaluating research outcomes, and overseeing research operations including project management, resource allocation, and outcome tracking.
RequirementsMinimum 15 years' experience in fields related to research administration, business administration, strategic planning, and/or policy development.
5+ years of team management experience.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Track record in building successful partnerships.
Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership ability.
Meticulous with attention to details, responsive, and excellent communication and writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Independent, self-driven, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
