Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Principal AS400 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and supporting applications on the IBM iSeries/AS400 platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing applications using RPG, RPGLE, CL, COBOL, and SQL. You will also integrate AS400 applications with other systems, databases, or external interfaces, and perform root cause analysis on application defects to provide solutions for remediation.

The successful candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills to manage user/vendor/customer interactions. Experience with end-to-end development following SDLC is essential, and knowledge of core banking modules and bulk file transactions is desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of development & production support L3 experience across multiple technologies/platforms
• Strong technical skills in AS400 platform & RPG/LE, CL/LE, COBOL400, SQL, and Query400
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with end-to-end development following SDLC
• Knowledge of core banking modules and bulk file transactions (desired)
