Highly skilled AS400 developers are required to design, develop and implement applications using RPG, RPGLE, CL, COBOL and SQL on IBM iSeries/AS400 platform. Our ideal candidate will have experience in integrating AS400 applications with other systems, databases or external interfaces. Key responsibilities include performing root cause analysis on application defects, providing solutions for remediation and prioritizing defects for production release. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development life cycle (SDLC), end-to-end testing and deployment to production environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of development and production support experience across multiple technologies/platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of AS400 platform, RPG/LE, CL/LE, COBOL400, SQL and Query400.
  • Ability to recommend enhancements, automation and modernization initiatives for AS400 systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
