Job Overview

The SMART CAMP research programme is an interdisciplinary initiative focused on addressing key technology bottlenecks in cell therapy manufacturing.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our efforts in expanding cGMP grade hiPSCs and differentiating them into progenitor cells for cell therapy products.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of postdoctoral associates and principal investigators from Singapore and MIT, contributing to routine hiPSC cell culture maintenance and expansion, molecular-based assays, and lab housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and expand cGMP grade hiPSCs through routine cell culture procedures
  • Perform molecular-based assays according to established protocols
  • Assist with general lab housekeeping, including inventory management and risk assessments
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in a biology-related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mammalian cell culture
  • Experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including qPCR, immunofluorescence staining, basic microscopy, and FACS
  • Familiarity with cell manufacturing or Design of Experiments (DOE) software is advantageous
