**Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting mechanical engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.

You will ensure that the required technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work-scopes and whilst conducting mechanical engineering activities. You will also review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices.

The successful candidate will support the Engineering Department to review, update, and apply standards. Additionally, they will plan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable
  • 10 years relevant postgraduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry in both Static and Piping disciplines. Expert level competency is required at least in one of the discipline areas (i.e., static or piping)
  • Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards, international codes, and company standards, related to Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven ability for effectively managing time, cost, and quality in either greenfield or brownfield engineering major projects as well in multiple project environments for the discipline engineering
