Civil and Geotechnical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil and Geotechnical Project Manager to oversee the execution of projects in civil and foundation engineering. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, as well as experience in civil and geotechnical projects.

This position involves:

  • Project Planning: Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Tender Management: Coordinating tender processes, including reviewing tender documents, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.
  • Team Management: Leading cross-functional teams, comprising engineers, estimators, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree: In civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil, foundation, or geotechnical projects, with exposure to both business development and tendering.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, practical knowledge of bored piles, secant piles, diaphragm walls, ground improvement techniques, and general civil works.
