Job Title: Concept Development Specialist

The role of Concept Development Specialist is pivotal in the creation and visualization of innovative event concepts. These events can range from corporate functions to exhibitions, concerts, festivals, and special activations.

This position involves taking client objectives and transforming them into unique event themes, stage designs, branding elements, and immersive experiences that align with the overall vision of the production team.

The Concept Development Specialist works closely with event producers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure concepts are both visually appealing and practically executable.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop creative concepts, themes, and design directions for events based on client briefs and brand guidelines

Create mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D visualizations, and presentations to communicate design ideas

Collaborate with production, technical, and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency

Research industry trends and innovative technologies to enhance event concept

Execution:

Translate approved creative concepts into detailed execution plans, drawings, and specifications

Work with production managers, technical teams, and fabricators to ensure feasibility of designs

Supervise on-site setup and installation to guarantee accurate implementation of design concept

Provide creative guidance during rehearsals, show runs, and event execution

Post-Event Report:

Prepare detailed post-event reports, including creative highlights, design execution, client feedback, and lessons learned

Collect and organize event documentation (photos, videos, renderings, design boards, and project notes)

Curate and design event portfolios that showcase past projects for marketing proposals and client presentations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Arts / Design / Visual Communications or equivalent field.
  • Proficient in design software skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Adobe Premier Pro, Blender etc.
  • Good knowledge in video editing, graphic design, illustration, and brand design.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry.
  • Self-motivated yet customer-focused.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine desire to learn and progress to a management role.
  • Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, acute vision.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and illustrative).
