Automotive Moulding Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Production Supervision: Lead and supervise daily injection moulding operations, allocate manpower, and oversee machine operations across multiple moulding lines.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all parts produced meet automotive quality standards, work closely with Quality Assurance, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Moulding Process Control: Oversee mould changeovers, machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter settings, optimize machine settings, and troubleshoot process or equipment issues.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coach a team of moulding technicians, operators, and material handlers, conduct training on safe machine operation and 5S practices, evaluate team performance, and manage shift handovers.
- Maintenance Coordination: Ensure daily machine maintenance checks are performed, coordinate with the maintenance team, and report workplace incidents or near-misses.
- A minimum of five years of experience in injection moulding for automotive or precision plastic components.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other relevant automotive quality tools.
- Proficiency in setting up machines such as Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc, or similar models.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based production environment.
