Lead Automotive Moulding Operations Manager

As a manufacturing leader, you will oversee the strategic planning and execution of daily injection moulding operations to meet production goals for automotive components.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in injection moulding, preferably in automotive or precision plastic components. Familiarity with quality tools such as IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, SPC is essential. Proficiency in setting up machines like Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc, or similar is also required.

In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance team on in-process checks and non-conformance issues. You will support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations or customer complaints. Additionally, you will oversee mould changeovers, machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter settings. Troubleshooting process or equipment issues to minimize downtime is an important aspect of this job.

You will supervise and coach a team of moulding technicians, operators, and material handlers. Conducting training on safe machine operation, work instructions, and best practices is essential. Evaluating team performance, managing shift handovers, and ensuring discipline are critical responsibilities.
