Job Title

 

A Floor Tiler Specialist is required to join our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and shape tiles using power and hand tools to fit around obstacles and in tight spaces.
  • Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue, or mortar.
  • Align tiles using straightedges, levels, and squares to achieve a precise pattern.
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by applying waterproofing material or lath and cleaning the surface properly.
  • Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
  • Tap tiles into place carefully to adhere them to the base without breaking or damaging them.

 

Requirements:

  • A strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights is essential for this role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints precisely is required.
  • The ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials is crucial.
  • Knowledge of various types of tiles, adhesives, and finishing materials is necessary.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients is required.
