Job Title: Principal Research Scientist in Molecular Biology

We are seeking a highly experienced researcher to join our team as a Principal Research Scientist in Molecular Biology. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in single molecule biology, developing novel experimental methods and techniques, and contributing to the development of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments using single molecule techniques such as biomolecular engineering, biological sample preparation, data acquisition, calibration, and quantitative data analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets generated from single molecule experiments.
  • Develop and implement new methodologies and tools for studying complex biological systems.
  • Collaborate with other researchers within and outside the institution to advance the field of single molecule biology.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field (Biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline) with postdoctoral or other professional experiences in closely related research fields.
  • Demonstrated expertise in single molecule techniques, including biomolecular engineering, biological sample preparation, data acquisition, calibration, and quantitative data analysis.
  • Experience in collaborative research environments and strong communication skills.
  • A strong track record of research productivity and interdisciplinary collaborative research.
