Government Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development professional to lead our efforts in the government sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, preferably with experience working in the government sector. He/She should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies to penetrate the government sector, identifying and targeting potential government clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, leading sales negotiations and contract discussions with government agencies, collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects, monitoring government tenders and procurement opportunities, preparing sales proposals, presentations, and bids, staying updated on government regulations, policies, and industry trends, conducting market research and competitor analysis, and preparing sales reports and forecasts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the government sector.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building government relationships.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals with government agencies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
